About The Position

Stockers are responsible for receiving, pricing, tagging, and inspecting freight. They must be proficient in the Cavender’s Boot City stocking system and understand all associated paperwork. Stockers prioritize restocking efforts, ensuring that high-priority items like empty shelves are addressed before less critical tasks. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the store, both inside and outside. This role involves supporting the company's culture, mission, vision, and values, and working with supervisors to achieve company goals such as web order completion rates and contest participation.

Requirements

Associate must be able to read English.

Associate must be able to stay alert during work hours assigned.

Responsibilities

Receive, price, sensor (if applicable) and inspect freight.
Prioritize merchandise by order of importance.
Keep the store neat and clean inside and outside.
Support the “Cavender’s Culture” and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values.
Support stocking tasks accurately and efficiently.
Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.
Be knowledgeable of all CBC policies and procedures.
Be knowledgeable of all CBC stocking procedures: Return to Stock (RTS), Return to Vendor (RTV), Validating packing slips, Tagging merchandise, Sensor tagging merchandise (if applicable).
Keep back-stock moving out to the sales floor to the proper locations.
Report to work promptly, neatly groomed, and appropriately dressed.
Be security conscious at all times.
Perform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Work with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desired goals set by the company (i.e. Web order completion rate, Company, or Vendor contests).
