About The Position

Ensure proper placement of products in the cooler while following proper quality guidelines. This role is crucial for maintaining product integrity and efficient operations within the dairy processing environment. The Stocker will be responsible for organizing and stacking products, verifying labels, and ensuring a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively through multiple channels – oral, written, visual, and non-verbal – ensuring our messages are understood and delivered appropriately, whether in-person or digitally.
  • Take responsibility for actions and anticipate challenges before they arise. Solve problems both within and outside of departments, proactively addressing issues as they occur.

  • The employee must be able to reach, bend, extend, and lift 50-60 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Notify supervisor of any products with issues; including, but not limited to, product without dates, incorrect dates, leaking cartons, short-filled units or cases, or any empty cases in a stack.
  • Places products in the assigned area, stacking 5 or 6 cases high, 12 stacks to each row.
  • Places dates on products facing the selector line making sure that new products are not placed in front of, or on top of existing products.
  • Verifies that products are labeled correctly.
  • Notifies the console operator of any product mixing before products may reach the palletizer.
  • Cleans and hoses down all spills.
  • Notifies supervisor of leaking products and any waste products resulting in spills.
  • Inspect areas around chains for milk drops; cleans and hoses down area accordingly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
