About The Position

Final Markdown is a high-volume, fast-paced liquidation store where our inventory changes daily. Because we process a massive variety of incoming merchandise at rapid speeds, our morning stocking team is the engine that drives our daily success. We are currently seeking a highly efficient, knowledgeable, and experienced Morning Stocker to prepare our sales floor before the store opens. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming liquidation freight, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the sales floor is fully stocked, safe, and visually appealing for our customers. Due to the nature of liquidation retail, every day brings new products, requiring a stocker who is highly adaptable, exceptionally fast, and understands retail merchandising best practices.

Requirements

  • You must possess highly developed, fast stocking abilities. We need someone who works with a sense of urgency and can clear pallets within a tight pre-opening window.
  • Prior experience in retail stocking, warehouse operations, or a liquidation environment is required. You should already know how to efficiently move freight from a pallet to the shelf.
  • A strong understanding of retail layouts, product placement, and how to best organize a wide variety of un-assorted goods.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, reach, and remain on your feet engaged in continuous physical labor for the entire shift.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently meeting stocking quotas and deadlines.
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
  • Strict punctuality and reliable attendance are non-negotiable expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Stock products accurately and efficiently on the sales floor, ensuring items are placed in their proper departments and arranged neatly.
  • Consolidate existing stock to make room for new daily arrivals, maximizing shelf space without creating clutter.
  • Promptly breakdown cardboard, dispose of packaging materials, and ensure all aisles are clear of pallets, boxes, and debris before the store opens to the public.
  • Adhere strictly to all workplace safety guidelines regarding heavy lifting, ladder usage, and equipment handling.
