This role supports the dining room/lounge team members in accommodating guest needs and works with dish station team members to ensure adequate supplies are available. The Stocker is responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness of their station and the entire venue, complying with Department of Health and company sanitation standards. This position also involves cleaning polishing equipment, changing garbage, recycling, and broken glass bins, and emptying compost. The Stocker ensures all stations are stocked to par and informs management when inventories are low. They are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of restrooms when bathroom attendants aren’t scheduled. Additional duties include setting up the polishing station and performing opening/closing procedures as directed by management, stocking side-stations, performing opening and closing side-work, and reporting all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management. The role requires attending training sessions and departmental meetings, learning by observing and sharing knowledge, portraying a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and its partners, and working as part of a team. The Stocker will also assist with and/or complete additional tasks as assigned.
