About The Position

This Stocker role is an overnight job where you can stay busy, be part of a friendly team, and help things go smoothly behind the scenes. The position involves unloading trucks, bringing products onto the sales floor, stocking shelves, coolers, and freezers with new items, and working with the overnight team to finish all stocking tasks before the store opens. Responsibilities include rotating products using the FIFO method, keeping shelves and displays neat and clean, refilling endcaps and sale areas, opening boxes, sorting products, organizing the stockroom, scanning items or entering inventory information, removing damaged or expired items, reporting low stock or overstock situations to a supervisor, sweeping, mopping, and keeping aisles and work areas clean, and disposing of cardboard, plastic wrap, and trash. The role also involves helping early-morning customers find items if asked and informing supervisors about any product problems or customer concerns. Safety rules must be followed when lifting, moving items, or using equipment, and pallet jacks, carts, and other store equipment should be used safely. A typical day involves checking in with the team leader, unloading and sorting delivery truck items, stocking shelves with attention to product placement and dates, ensuring price and sign accuracy, removing unsaleable items, maintaining aisle cleanliness, assisting with displays, and preparing the area for the daytime crew.
