About The Position

The stocker/supervisor is responsible for ensuring the store operates smoothly, shelves remain fully stocked, and inventory processes are completed accurately and on time. The stocker/supervisor will support the daily store operations, assists the management team, and helps maintain an organized customer-friendly shopping environment.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in a grocery store or general retail environment, with a strong understanding of stocking, inventory flow and store operations
At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience, demonstrating the ability to guide, train, and support team members effectively
Proficiency with POS systems (Point of Sale), including item setup, pricing adjustments, and override procedures
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, carry and move merchandise

Responsibilities

Stock all merchandise on designated truck days, ensuring shelves are filled, organized and rotated according to store standards
Assist the store managers and general manager with daily operational tasks and leadership support
Place truck and product orders accurately and in a timely manner to maintain proper inventory levels
Complete shelf resets, including reorganizing sections, updating layouts, and ensuring planogram compliance
Enter new items into the POS system, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and department assignments
Print and place price tags for shelves, endcaps, and promotional displays
Perform POS overrides when authorized, ensuring accuracy and adherence to store policies
Ensure inventory is stored safely and efficiently
Provide guidance to stockers and assist with training new team members
Support customer service needs by assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns when needed
