About The Position

The stocker/supervisor is responsible for ensuring the store operates smoothly, shelves remain fully stocked, and inventory processes are completed accurately and on time. The stocker/supervisor will support the daily store operations, assists the management team, and helps maintain an organized customer-friendly shopping environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a grocery store or general retail environment, with a strong understanding of stocking, inventory flow and store operations
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience, demonstrating the ability to guide, train, and support team members effectively
  • Proficiency with POS systems (Point of Sale), including item setup, pricing adjustments, and override procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, carry and move merchandise

Responsibilities

  • Stock all merchandise on designated truck days, ensuring shelves are filled, organized and rotated according to store standards
  • Assist the store managers and general manager with daily operational tasks and leadership support
  • Place truck and product orders accurately and in a timely manner to maintain proper inventory levels
  • Complete shelf resets, including reorganizing sections, updating layouts, and ensuring planogram compliance
  • Enter new items into the POS system, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and department assignments
  • Print and place price tags for shelves, endcaps, and promotional displays
  • Perform POS overrides when authorized, ensuring accuracy and adherence to store policies
  • Ensure inventory is stored safely and efficiently
  • Provide guidance to stockers and assist with training new team members
  • Support customer service needs by assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
