About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. The position involves providing friendly customer service, assisting customers in finding products, and performing various cleaning duties. Additionally, the role may include tasks such as checking out customers, promoting loyalty programs, assisting with online order fulfillment (BOPIS and SFS), participating in truck unloading and stocking, and supporting safety and shrink programs. The job requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Dust and damp mop floors.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning.
Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
Mix cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, high traffic areas).
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
Notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
