About The Position

The Stock Plan Services Administration Specialist works within the Operations team supporting equity compensation plans. The role coordinates and executes brokerage-specific transactions and client-driven requests related to plan configuration and setup. Requests come from external Plan Sponsors through a workflow management tool or from internal Client Service Managers responsible for client relationships. Some transactions require interpreting client instructions and applying service-level agreements to make decisions that maintain client expectations. The position requires precise, well-controlled execution, strong communication, and collaboration across internal teams. The specialist balances client needs with participant experience and considers how plan updates affect participants’ equity compensation balances. Work is high-volume and market-sensitive, with daily tasks and competing deadlines. Fidelity Stock Plan Services is integrated within the Workplace Investing division and provides equity compensation administration for public and private companies. Its services include technology and personalized communications, education, and guidance to help employees understand their equity awards. Fidelity states that it is transitioning toward a full-time onsite working model through a phased regional and role-based rollout; current onsite expectations vary and may evolve.
