About The Position

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Stock Handler assists with loading, unloading, and moving products for the Service Department and completes shipping/receiving documentation and inventory counts. The role involves performing various material handling activities, keeping manufacturing and shipping/receiving areas organized, and assisting with inventory control assignments. The company emphasizes continuous learning and improvement, with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

Requirements

Completion of secondary school
Above average communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to plan and multi-task.
Ability to complete a variety of forms such as special-order forms, return forms, and delivery forms. These forms must be filled in precisely and accurately to avoid mix-ups in product transactions.
Plan workdays in conjunction with supervisor and have flexibility to adjust plans according to customer orders.
Ability to work within a team and independently as needed.
Continuously learn on the job.

Responsibilities

Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or use basic material handling equipment.
Communicate with the supervisor to confirm details, such as purchase order numbers.
Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
Keep all manufacturing and shipping/receiving areas organized.
Complete all shipping and receiving documentation.
Assist with the execution of physical inventory counts, perform location auditing and reporting.
Perform various inventory control assignments as required.
May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.
Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
