About The Position

The Stock Controller will be responsible for maintaining the company's stock inventories and managing internal stock transfers. This role involves real-time monitoring of consumption in various production areas, verifying raw material and packaging consumption, and ensuring accurate lotting of finished goods. The position requires adherence to FEFO principles, proper storage processes, and maintaining a steady flow of stock to production areas. The Stock Controller will also reconcile production reports, close out daily transactions, and ensure compliance with plant GMPs and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Be able to stand, stoop, climb and bend for periods of time
  • Be able to lift up to 70lbs consecutive as needed
  • Be able to work in freezer, cold, hot, and wet environment for 8–10-hour shifts
  • Basic literacy (English) and math skills
  • Certification/Training in Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack
  • Warehouse and forklift/pallet jack experience of 2+ years
  • Proficiency in inventory management software
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining companies' stock inventories
  • Managing internal stock transfers
  • Monitoring in real time the consumption centers of Grind room, Prep room 1, Prep room 2, Fill room 1 and 2, and packaging
  • Verifying in real time the correct raw/packaging materials consumption, as well as finish goods lotting (every pallet must have a label)
  • Notifying the Supervisor of any discrepancies to the consumption or inventory needs of the production rooms
  • Ensuring FEFO is being utilized and accurate recording on batch sheets
  • Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing, and labeling
  • Managing returns
  • Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to where it is required
  • Supplying production with required needed materials (i.e.. Ingredients, rework, packaging, etc.)
  • Performing additional responsibilities as instructed by Shipping & Receiving Manager and/or Operations Manager
  • Adhering to plant GMPs and safety guidelines
  • Reconciling what is produced on packaging report to what was physically produced
  • Closing out transactions in previous day consumption in all areas
  • Verifying production SOP
