About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations by maintaining high quality and accuracy standards. The associate will strictly adhere to all posted procedures, maintain acceptable attendance, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented demeanor. Key accountabilities include pulling parts, assisting with loading/unloading, sorting and moving products, cleaning work areas, picking up and delivering oversized/fragile parts, and removing trash. The position requires effective interaction with others, cross-training in other areas, and maintaining a safe working environment. The associate will also support the company's total quality process and represent the company professionally.

Requirements

Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred).
Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math.
Able to read and understand instructions in English.
Strong quality and productivity orientation.
Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders).
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
Ability to work overtime and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Handheld computer/iPad experience
May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred).
Prior warehouse experience preferred

Pulls parts from bin box or shelving.
Assists drivers with loading and unloading products.
Sorts product, pallets, boxes and moves to various areas within the warehouse.
Cleans and preps work areas by removing empty boxes from work stations.
Picks up oversized and/or fragile parts (not able to travel by the conveyor system) and manually delivers to the consolidation department.
Removes trash.
