About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations through quality and accuracy. The associate will strictly adhere to all posted procedures, maintain acceptable attendance, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented demeanor. Key accountabilities include pulling parts, assisting with loading/unloading, sorting products, cleaning work areas, and handling oversized or fragile items. The position also requires maintaining a safe working environment, interacting effectively with others, and supporting the company's total quality process.

Requirements

Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred).
Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math.
Able to read and understand instructions in English.
Strong quality and productivity orientation.
Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders).
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
Ability to work overtime and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Handheld computer/iPad experience preferred.
May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred).
Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Maintains acceptable attendance based on Mouser Absence Policy guidelines.

Actively cross-trains in other areas, as required, outside of a primary job function.

Supports and participates in the company’s total quality process, including continuous improvements.
Pulls parts from bin box or shelving.
Assists drivers with loading and unloading products.
Sorts product, pallets, boxes and moves to various areas within the warehouse.
Cleans and preps work areas by removing empty boxes from work stations.
Picks up oversized and/or fragile parts (not able to travel by the conveyor system) and manually delivers to the consolidation department.
Removes trash.
