About The Position

The Stock Clerk II is responsible for all physical tasks required to transport and store serviceable and unserviceable OCIE (Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment). This role performs a variety of duties involved in the ordering, receiving, handling, marking, preparing, and issuing stock. The Stock Clerk II will work in one or more departments within the CIF (e.g., issue-receiving line, warehouse, offices, etc.), and performs rotational assignment within all sections within CIF.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass the standard background check.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver’s License or valid State issued Identification with no restrictions.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
  • Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Benning Installation.
  • Two (2) years' or more supply chain or logistical operations
  • Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Must have a general familiarity with computer elements to perform functional activities such as data entry, data verification, transaction preparation
  • Possess the ability to understand SOPs, Work Instructions, Army Regulations, Technical Manuals and applicable Department of Defense forms.
  • Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.
  • Capacity to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge and operational experience with Soldier Equipping Asset Management (SEAM) or Army STAMIS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload material from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.
  • Ensure all incoming delivery matches the purchase orders.
  • Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice.
  • Store cargo in assigned locations using pallet jacks, hand carts, rolling bins, or a forklift (Stand up or Sit down).
  • Work involved requires pushing, pulling, carrying, stopping, bending, squatting and reaching.
  • Stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of material.
  • Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
  • Unpacks, Shelves, or places items in appropriate storage locations.
  • Manage inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the counts and location of inventory.
  • Operate various machinery including pallet jacks, carts, weight scales, and banding equipment to handle materials and inventory.
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations and ensures that all safety precautions are adhered to at all times.
  • Properly understand and be knowledgeable of the DA Form 3645 and to ensure it is processed in the Installation Support Module (ISM).
  • As required, performs a variety of tasks to assist in the CIF daily operations such as: measuring, fitting, and issuing OCIE, to authorized service members processing through the CIF, preparing replenish request forms for restocking OCIE equipment; obtaining additional stock from warehouse back-up stock; relocating stock for convenience in resupplying bins, shelves and from one warehouse to issue line; moving boxes and pallets of OCIE from warehouse area; and maintaining work areas and floor in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
