About The Position

The Stock Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or storage yard. The Stock Clerk also ensures that all supply requirements are processed accurately and in a timely manner and receives and inventories OCIE in support of CST mission.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Must have ability to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Must have warehousing and supply system experience, preferably GCSS-Army
• Possess a Valid Drivers’ License.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Nice To Haves

• GCSS-Army (Global Combat Support System-Army) experience.

Responsibilities

• Exchanges items turned in by authorized personnel due to fair wear and tear, unserviceable, or improper fit.
• Maintains a daily transaction register in ISM showing all actions taken during the day.
• Reconciles OCIE records contained in ISM with unit rosters monthly and resolve discrepancies as required.
• Accepts turn-ins of OCIE, determine serviceability of turn-ins, return serviceable items to stock and turn in items determined to be unserviceable / uneconomically repairable to the Installation Supply Support Activity (ISSA) after concurrence from the Government classified.
• Conducts location surveys, special, cyclic and annual inventories in accordance with procedures established in AR 735-5, AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1 and CIF SOP.
• Performs research to resolve inventory discrepancies. Investigates stock/record/material discrepancies impacting inventory balances.
• Operates material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts and stock selectors to move material.
• Receives, stores, maintains, inventories, and issues ICEMP items.
• Performs other relevant duties as assigned.
