About The Position
The Stock Clerk position is responsible for stocking and straightening merchandise and supplies, rotating merchandise, receiving and unloading truck deliveries, and performing basic housekeeping duties. The role requires operating equipment safely, lifting and moving items, and standing or walking for extended periods. Secondary functions include maintaining a clean work area, assisting customers with groceries, and operating cashier equipment. The job also involves performing duties accurately and efficiently with limited supervision.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Standing and/or walking at a rapid pace for extended periods of time to perform job functions.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Follows dress code.

- Speaks English fluently.
- Eyesight corrected to 20/20.
- Hearing corrected to normal range.

Responsibilities
- Stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies.
- Rotates merchandise as necessary according to product expiration dates.
- Receives and unloads truck deliveries using available equipment and according to established guidelines.
- Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment (mops, brooms, floor scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.).
- Operates all required tools and equipment in a safe manner except when restricted due to age.
- Maintains a clean and neat work area.
- Unloads groceries from customers shopping cart.
- Carries or carts groceries to customer’s car.
- Properly bags or packages customers purchases using correct size and quantity of bags.
- Performs all essential job functions at an acceptable level of speed and accuracy.
- Performs all essential job functions with limited supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
