About The Position

Challenge Unlimited is seeking a Part-Time Stock Clerk at Scott Air Force Base. This role provides administrative and clerical support to the Operations team, contributing to the mission of helping individuals with disabilities achieve independence. The Stock Clerk is responsible for stock rotation, delivering and issuing supplies, janitorial duties, labeling and diluting chemicals, maintaining cleaning supplies, cleaning and sanitizing various areas, operating equipment safely, and contributing to teamwork. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Past work experience in any field.
  • Requires attention to detail and data entry skills.
  • Driver’s License (regular in IL, WI, OH, SC; Class E in MO)
  • Excel (if needed by site)
  • Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (based on site)
  • Must pass criminal background check.
  • Must pass various State and Federal registry checks.
  • Must pass DCFS Abuse and Neglect Tracking System check.
  • Must pass driving history check and Company policy criteria.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in inventory, shipping & handling, or warehouse helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update inventory records.
  • Prepare supply orders for deliveries and issue requisitioned supplies to janitorial teams.
  • Complete delivery of janitorial supplies to work sites.
  • Maintain organization of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemicals.
  • Account for and receive supply orders from distributors and put them away in the stockroom.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain organization by restocking products on shelves using stock rotation.
  • Report on any stock issues to management.
  • Perform general cleaning and floor care requirements on assigned sites.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock bathrooms, floors, stairs, and common areas.
  • Empty trash cans and clean receptacles.
  • Maintain and organize chemical and equipment storage areas.
  • Dust and clean office desks and furniture.
  • Clean windowsills and windows.
  • Complete laundry duties for mops and cleaning rags.
  • Assist with floor care, carpet cleaning, and vehicle transport for repairs.
  • Properly label, dilute, and use approved chemicals.
  • Promote a culture that advances the Company’s mission and values.
  • Maintain effective communication and positive relationships with co-workers.
  • Assist with training and answering questions.
  • Ensure a high rate of client and staff satisfaction.
