About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring incoming and outgoing products and components are available to internal and external customers, performing tasks accurately and on-time while maintaining inventory accuracy through routine cycle counting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and receive incoming and outgoing packages and pallets shipping in/out of the facility. Accurately perform cycle counting. Accurately pick parts according to pick lists for production or samples. Safely move stock within facility using carts, pallet jacks, or powered lifts. Accurately complete all related documentation. Perform related transactions within the ERP system. Communicate effectively and politely with internal and external customers. Operate company vehicles, straight truck, van, powered industrial equipment, docks, overhead doors and dock locks. Must be able to work independently and within a team environment. Other job activities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to maintain a valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to learn all tasks within the shipping and receiving department
  • Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures, quality procedures and environmental health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently in a safe manner and in a team environment
  • Ability to operate company vehicles safely in all weather conditions
  • Ability to multi-task with good time management skills
  • Proficient computer literacy: MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Fully enclosed shoes and safety glasses with attached side shields
  • Heat resistant and/or cut resistant gloves – based on workstation
  • ESD smock and grounding equipment as required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a shipping/receiving role is preferred
