About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Stock Clerk in a grocery setting, with opportunities for both day and night shifts. The role involves stocking and organizing merchandise, managing inventory rotation, handling truck deliveries, and performing basic housekeeping duties. The position requires operating equipment safely and efficiently, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Secondary functions include assisting customers with bagging and carrying groceries, and potentially operating cashier equipment. Requirements

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Standing and/or walking at a rapid pace for extended periods of time to perform job functions.
• Follows dress code.

• Speaks English fluently.
• Eyesight corrected to 20/20.
• Hearing corrected to normal range.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies.
• Rotates merchandise as necessary according to product expiration dates.
• Receives and unloads truck deliveries using available equipment and according to established guidelines.
• Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment (mops, brooms, floor scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.).
• Operates all required tools and equipment in a safe manner except when restricted due to age.
• Maintains a clean and neat work area.
• Unloads groceries from customers shopping cart.
• Carries or carts groceries to customer’s car.
• Properly bags or packages customers purchases using correct size and quantity of bags.
• Performs all essential job functions at an acceptable level of speed and accuracy.
• Performs all essential job functions with limited supervision.
