This position supports storeroom operations by managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records for county maintenance work. Through your work, you will ensure that all necessary materials are available and properly documented to support safe and efficient highway operations. As a Stock Clerk 2, you will perform the following duties: Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels, review usage, and track items stored in multiple locations Record Keeping: Document transactions, update SAP entries, and reconcile inventory differences Ordering Supplies: Prepare purchase requisitions, obtain quotes, and follow up on pending orders Material Inspection: Check delivered items for accuracy and condition, and address any issues with vendors Storeroom Organization: Keep the storeroom clean, secure, and properly arranged for efficient access Equipment Operation: Use forklifts, hand trucks, and related equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
