About The Position
Meet your closet’s newest favorites—Favorite Daughter. Founded by sisters Sara and Erin Foster, our casually cool collection of wardrobe essentials has become a go-to for women seeking style with substance. As we open our newest boutique on Madison Avenue, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking Stock Associate to support the team and ensure our customers always find their favorites on the floor. The Stock Associate is responsible for the flow of merchandise in and out of the store, keeping the stockroom organized, and ensuring the sales floor is always fully replenished and ready for customers. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to delivering an elevated customer experience and maintaining Favorite Daughter’s high standards of presentation.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes up to 30 lbs.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail stock, operations, or back-of-house experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and process all merchandise shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and back-of-house areas.
- Replenish the sales floor in a timely manner, ensuring product availability for customers.
- Assist in inventory counts, audits, and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Support the sales team by locating requested merchandise quickly and efficiently.
- Follow all company policies for inventory control, loss prevention, and safety.
