About The Position
The Stock Associate helps keep the store running smoothly by maintaining stocked shelves, unloading deliveries, and supporting stockroom and sales-floor operations. The role involves staying active and handling a variety of stocking and inventory tasks.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds.
- Previous stockroom or warehouse experience.
- Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill stock orders and deliver merchandise to terminal stores.
- Count incoming merchandise and report shortages or overages to management.
- Receive and unload truck deliveries.
- Replenish stock on the sales floor.
- Assist with inventory checks and reconcile variances.
- Notify management when merchandise is out of stock.
- Maintain a secure stock area and protect company assets.
- Assist with stocking in stores and backrooms.
- Help ensure a safe and clean environment for employees.
- Assist with trash removal and recycling.
