We are currently seeking a Stock Associate with a strong work ethic to support our retail store at Salem Maritime National Historic Park in Salem, MA. Pay starts at $15.00/hour.

This is an hourly part-time, seasonal round position and the right candidate will need to be able to work weekends and holidays. The season runs through November 2026.

This position serves as an ambassador for Eastern National and the Parks and will promote EN’s Mission by educating visitors about EN’s partnership with the National Park Service.

The Stock Associate will work in a fast-paced environment and assist with the daily operation of the stores including but not limited to, product and supply receiving, handling, and inventory control and replenishment. The Stock Associate may need to deliver product to multiple locations within proximity to home location.

Requirements

• Computer proficiency required with applied understanding of Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 35 pounds to a shelf height of 5 feet; may be exposed to standing for long periods of time to include bending, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to heat in the summer and cold in winter, similar to outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming merchandise and supplies, process related paper work and unpack/ unload merchandise to appropriate locations.
• Execute merchandise transfers and complete related paper work.
• Restock the sales floor while following visual merchandising guidelines and helping to create visual displays.
• Participate in the inventory management process and spot check counts as directed by management and take physical inventories as needed.
• Assist the Inventory Control Supervisor with duties and projects.
• Maintain a safe and appealing store environment while supporting EN’s mission.
