About The Position

As a Famous Footwear Overnight Stocking Associate, you are passionate about providing the best shoe store experience for every customer. Famous Footwear has an incredible opportunity for an Overnight Stocking Associate to join our creative, forward-thinking team in providing a world-class customer experience! We seek someone who is organized, proactive and retail-process savvy. You’re perfect for this position if you’re someone who'll enjoy flexing your organizational and spatial skills to create efficiencies in the stockroom and throughout our sales floor!

Requirements

Ability to work overnight between the hours of 9pm and 5am
Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma/GED
Able to build constructive and effective relationships within store
Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels
Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed
Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
Ability to work effectively within a team

Responsibilities

Replenish and organize merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring products are displayed according to visual standards and fashion-forward guidelines.
Rotate stock, align fashion items with different styles and brands, and help create an inspiring, trend-setting shopping experience.
Unpack incoming shipments, process new inventory, and strategically stock the store to support daily sales.
Assist with product reworks and transfers to keep presentation fresh and exciting.
Complete additional task and projects as assigned by store leadership to support overall store operations.
