About The Position

The Stock Assembler I is responsible for assembling and finishing Weatherby rifle stocks. Assignments may include basic or more complex tasks such as molding, sanding, pre-finishing, fitting parts, and final assembly. Assemblers will be trained to inspect and ensure finished products meet all specifications, while also supporting continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
English written and oral communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating instructions, and work orders.
Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments.
Strong problem-solving skills, thoroughness, and time management abilities.
Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

Perform stock assembly tasks in an assembly line fashion
Assemble components and perform processes to specifications; perform quality inspections.
Operate pneumatic and CNC equipment safely and efficiently; Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary.
Work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere meeting daily goals together.
Follow work instructions and prescribed safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
