About The Position

This role supports warehouse operations both on and off the airport site. Warehouse associates are responsible for processing shipping and receiving functions, unloading trucks, pulling and packing stock orders, and providing maintenance activities for the shops. They must be able to communicate and partner with store management, vendors, and airport staff to ensure compliance with rules and regulations for deliveries and merchandise movement. The role requires learning job responsibilities, including understanding warehouse layout, inventory types, and merchandise departments. The Replenish Associate function includes maintaining and delivering stock to various locations throughout the day, pulling reports, and filling orders to ensure adequate merchandise levels. This involves working directly with sales associates and managers to put away stock, set planograms, and manage promotions. Stock Associates may also perform store functions such as customer service, register transactions, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Minimum one year of warehouse retail or customer service experience required.
  • Must have strong customer service and effective communication skills.
  • Work with a consistent sense of urgency.
  • Able to prioritize and handle several projects at once.
  • Must be a self-starter and ability to work with minimal instruction.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain store/stockroom/warehouse appearance with respect to creating a safe working environment in compliance with Health & Safety regulations, visual merchandising, housekeeping, and maintenance standards.
  • Efficiently and accurately conduct receiving, cycle counts, product returns, transfer transactions, etc. on handheld or Company equipment.
  • Efficiently and accurately complete any required process controls (paperwork, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent application of stock security as per defined processes.
  • Resolve inventory control issues and escalate as required.
  • Accurately report and follow up on all IMT issues.
  • Identify and report discrepancies to management according to defined process.
  • Price stock and assist in store stocking, where required.
