About The Position
This fall, we are looking for compassionate, dedicated STNA to join our team and bring warmth, quality care, and positive energy to our residents every day. This role involves direct resident care, creating a welcoming environment, clinical collaboration, and maintaining safety standards.
Requirements
- Current STNA license required
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, walk, assist with resident transfers
- Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility)
- Answer call lights promptly
- Ensure personal care needs are met with dignity
- Greet new admissions and help residents settle into their rooms
- Cultivate a calm, cheerful atmosphere on your unit
- Measure and record vital signs (TPRs)
- Monitor food/fluid intake
- Observe skin condition
- Report any changes in status immediately to the Nurse Supervisor
- Maintain resident privacy (HIPAA)
- Follow safety/infection control protocols
- Safely operate authorized equipment
