About The Position

As a Stitcher Operator, you will be responsible for operating the stitcher machine to stitch flat sheets of paper together. Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • GED or high school diploma

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, operating and quality of the Stitcher.
  • Examines work order to determine work instructions.
  • Set stitchers for specified length and thickness of stitch and threads stitching wire into the machine.
  • Starts machine and makes trial run.
  • Readjusts machine setup if necessary.
  • Assists in feeding and off bearing machine.
  • Oils, greases, and cleans machine parts and makes minor repairs to keep machine in working condition.
  • Inspects completed work.
  • Must observe all safety policies and procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out policy.
  • Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.
