About The Position

This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Intelligence Planner with demonstrated experience in maritime exercises, operational planning, and the integration of innovative technologies. This role supports a Maritime Operations Center (MOC) and is ideal for an intelligence professional who excels in future-oriented planning, experimentation, and multi-domain operational intelligence. The selected candidate will lead and support intelligence planning activities for fleet operations and large-scale exercises. The ideal candidate brings strong analytic tradecraft, experience designing and executing intelligence injects, and a proven ability to integrate emerging technologies, data systems, and innovative solutions into planning processes. This role is pivotal in shaping how intelligence supports maritime operations across traditional, hybrid, and future operational environments.

Requirements

Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
Level 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
Professional experience in military or government intelligence planning.
Demonstrated involvement in exercise planning, execution, and post-event analysis.
Understanding of maritime operations, threat environments, and naval intelligence processes.
Ability to integrate multi-source intelligence into planning and scenario development.
Strong analytical, collaboration, and senior-leader communication skills.
Experience with technology-enabled intelligence tools, data systems, or ISR capabilities.
Familiarity with Navy and Joint planning processes.
Ability to synthesize multi-source intelligence into actionable operational insights.
Strong interpersonal, briefing, and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to intelligence (AI/ML, advanced sensors, automation, data fusion, C5ISR systems).
Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Lead intelligence planning and integration for maritime exercises, including scenario development, threat replication, intelligence injects, and post-exercise analysis.
Develop and refine operational intelligence estimates, concepts of operations, and planning support products.
Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies, advanced ISR tools, automation, AI-enabled systems, and innovative analytic approaches into operational planning.
Collaborate with planners, operators, and technologists to ensure intelligence is fully integrated into exercise design and mission execution.
Conduct multi-source analysis of adversary capabilities, emerging threats, and evolving operational environments.
Assess intelligence gaps and propose technology-driven solutions to improve situational awareness and decision superiority.
Support MOC battle rhythm events, planning teams, and coordination with Navy, Joint, and Interagency partners.
Deliver clear and actionable briefings and written products for senior leaders and planners.
Contribute to lessons-learned processes, innovation initiatives, and the development of future planning tools.
Ensure compliance with intelligence doctrine, policy, classification guidance, and OPSEC standards.
