About The Position

The Alcohol Loadout Operator II Production is responsible for maintaining safe and effective operations within the Alcohol Loadout Department. They will work with the Operator II (Loader) and Operator I (Tankerman) to accomplish assigned tasks throughout their shift. BioUrja Renewables, LLC is a leading manufacturer of industrial-grade, beverage-grade, and fuel-grade ethanol and co-products, located in Peoria, IL. Requirements

  • Basic process knowledge
  • Basic computer skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Mechanical skills with the ability to use hand tools
  • Able to understand and comply with plant GMP and personnel practice requirements
  • Transportation Worker’s Identification Card preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent with strong fundamental skills (math, reading, and writing)
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operator I and Operator II to ensure department and shift objectives are accomplished
  • Monitor assigned department processes via D/3 computer system
  • Inspect equipment in the field, troubleshooting as necessary to maintain production objectives
  • Perform daily and assigned housekeeping responsibilities
  • Perform lock outs on assigned equipment
  • Retrieve samples from the field
  • Perform environmental verifications and record as needed
  • Basic oil and greasing of equipment
  • Train employees new to position
  • Operate mechanized equipment
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment
  • Assist in the review and creations of SOPs
  • Completes all required documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
  • Informs supervisor and affected personnel immediately of any hazards, unsafe equipment and/or acts
  • Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process plans
  • Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legal requirements
  • Cross train as Stills Utility
  • Assist in the offloading of trucks as needed
  • Other similar duties as assigned
