About The Position

Under the direction of the Senior Stewardship Specialist, the Stewardship Specialist - Advancement Initiatives provides operational and administrative support for a robust and growing Advancement organization at the OU Foundation. The specialist provides support and strategic vision to the operational needs of the OU Foundation’s fundraising team. This professional partners with development professionals across all OU campuses and OU Foundation staff to ensure appropriate processes and practices related to all aspects of a stewardship program designed to celebrate OU’s donors are followed. The specialist works closely with other members of the OU Advancement team to support the work of the organization by coordinating, organizing and stewarding managed donors and prospects for all gifts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, public relations or a closely related field.
• 24 months of office administration/operation experience supporting a high-functioning team in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of OU fundraising operations.
• Experience developing strategies for high-level prospects.
• Experience with fundraising and stewardship programs, preferably in higher education.
• Ability to create tailored fundraising and stewardship strategies.
• Proficiency with advancement software such as Agilon, Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Understanding of communication and stewardship programs that support fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities
