About The Position

The Stewarding Assistant Manager leads the stewarding operations, ensuring seamless back-of-house support for our food and beverage outlets while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years or older and able to obtain required licensing through the New York State Gaming Commission
At least 2 years of prior relevant experience including stewarding within the hotel or casino industry
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams
Knowledge of kitchen equipment, materials, and sanitation standards
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Experience in a union environment
Spanish fluency

Responsibilities

Oversee daily stewarding operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas
Manage and train stewarding staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Coordinate with vendors and departments to ensure proper supplies and equipment are available
Assist with scheduling, labor relations, and operational problem-solving
