About The Position

The Steward supports kitchen and property cleanliness and operations by handling dishwashing, cleaning, waste removal, supply transfer, and banquet setup tasks. The role also helps create an entertaining atmosphere and promote Bally’s customer-centric culture through superior guest service and positive guest relations. The work takes place in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels, bright lights, large crowds, and high-volume guest interaction. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

Requirements

Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels, bright lights, large crowds, and high-volume guest interaction.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, Team Members, and leadership while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere.
Promote Bally’s customer-centric culture by offering superior guest service and building long-lasting guest relations.
Scrape food from dirty dishes and place tableware in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
Set up the ware-washer station, including glass racks, flat racks, trash cans, and a three-compartment sink as needed.
Retrieve operational supplies such as chemicals, gloves, and towels.
Clean kitchen hand-washing sinks and restock them with soap and paper towels.
Assist with banquet setup for events.
Wash pots, pans, cooking utensils, and equipment.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors; wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Separate and remove trash and garbage, place it in designated containers, and steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Follow sanitation and safety guidelines.
Assist with cleanliness in Front and Heart of House areas of the property.
Perform other duties as assigned.
