The Steward is responsible for providing friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. This role involves preparing and washing tableware, removing garbage and refuse, and maintaining cleanliness of floors and cooking equipment. The Steward sets up the dishwashing machine, stacks and stores clean dishes, and collects and washes dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and utensils. They also retrieve items from storerooms and refrigeration units, and clean and sanitize food and beverage areas. The position requires attending all departmental and company training programs and meetings, performing all job duties safely and responsibly, and meeting department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements, including wearing slip-resistant safety shoes. Adherence to regulatory, department, and company policies is mandatory.
