About The Position

The Chatham Inn, Cape Cod’s only Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five-Star hotel, is a luxurious boutique hotel with 18 guest rooms that blends the soul of a historic inn with modern decor and amenities, along with Cuvee, our fine dining restaurant and wine bar. Cuvée Bistro at The Chatham Inn is evolving into a relaxed, approachable coastal bistro with Mediterranean and French influences. We are moving away from a traditional fine-dining model toward something more vibrant, welcoming, and community-driven — while maintaining the polish and standards expected of a Relais & Châteaux and Forbes-recognized property. Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain equipment and areas such as Dishwashing/ Kitchen/ Cafeteria/ Compactor and Storage according to hotel specifications and standards.
• Wash pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Assign other cleaning projects as needed.
• Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, workstations, and equipment.
• Ensure all areas are free from debris and hazards.
• Properly dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Maintain cleanliness in trash disposal areas.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Safely operate and maintain dishwashing equipment.
• Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
