About The Position

Cobblestone Creek Country Club is seeking a steward to join our team. This role will be a seasonal position, lasting 6 months or less. Essential Duties:  Washes and sanitizes: China, Glass, Silver, Cooking equipment and tools, both in a dish machine or by hand.  Assists in stocking and rotating of incoming food and beverage products.  Assists in basic food preparation as assigned by the Chef or Food & Beverage Manager.  Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.  Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.  Performs daily cleaning to include,but not limited to dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.  Maintains sanitation standards in assigned areas.  Sweeps and mops floors.  Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdown.  Follows safe work practices in job performance.  Regular and reliable attendance.  Performs other duties as required.  Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.  Regular and reliable attendance.  Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • No prior experience or training.
  • Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, reaches with hands and arms.
  • Regular communication.
  • Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, tastes or smells.
  • Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently works in extreme heat (non-weather), in areas with moving mechanical parts and with toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather).
  • Applicable Sanitation Training
  • Ability to communicate in  English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job; equipment manuals, direction from leadership, communicating with coworkers and guests/members.
