About The Position

The Steward plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within all kitchen and food service areas of the Dellshire Resort. This position supports the Culinary and Food & Beverage teams by ensuring that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. The Steward upholds Dellshire Resort’s standards of cleanliness and safety, contributing to a smooth and efficient operation that enhances both guest and team member experience. Dellshire Resort is a world-class, medieval-inspired destination where technology meets timeless adventure. It is a distinctive pre-build property in the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio, set to open in the Spring of 2026. This themed resort will feature a design unlike any other, offering a unique setting for future hospitality professionals. Dellshire Resort, an independent four-star destination resort, is nestled in the scenic beauty of Wisconsin Dells. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior dishwashing, stewarding, or custodial experience preferred, hospitality or resort background a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures, including chemical handling.
  • Dependable and team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, drains, and equipment according to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist culinary team by ensuring that all stations have clean tools and small wares readily available.
  • Remove trash, recycling, and compost from kitchen areas and dispose of properly in designated locations.
  • Clean and organize dishwashing, storage, and loading areas throughout the shift.
  • Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling, equipment use, and PPE requirements.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects including ovens, hoods, refrigerators, and walk-ins.
  • Check and maintain sanitation levels of dish machines and report malfunctions immediately.
  • Support banquet and restaurant operations by transporting clean service items and ensuring back-of-house readiness.
  • Maintain accurate par levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the Executive Steward.
  • Uphold Dellshire Resort’s commitment to a safe, clean, and positive working environment.
