Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duties satisfactorily.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity.
• Must have the physical stamina to lift, carry, push and pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and various shifts, including but not limited to, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• Comfortably communicate in English.
• Attention to detail is critical for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the dishes, flatware, pots and pans and prep areas.
• Scraping food from dirty dishes, washing them by hand and/or placing them in racks or in conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans, kitchen tools and trays.
• Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, banquet service areas and hallways.
• Fulfilling special guest requests involving kosher dishes, specific preparation and set-up of items and even special occasions.
• Reporting and working with other positions to correct imperfections and blemishes.
• Communicating with other departments and extended hotel team to ensure alignment.
