About The Position

Washes china, silverware, glassware, pots and pans. Empties trash. Washes floor mats. Keeps kitchen and respective areas clean and organized.

Requirements

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to process detailed work and requests for information or assistance in a timely manner.
  • Ability to apply regulatory and procedure doctrine, concepts, and policy to practical situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Steward and/or cleaning experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills are important to the successful conduct of this position.
  • Must be able to speak with the public in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Does all ware washing and maintains a clean and organized dish drop zone.
  • Washes all pots, pans and related items and maintains a clean organized pot sink area.
  • Puts away all washed and dried items in their respective locations.
  • Maintains proper chemical levels and stocks back-up chemicals when necessary.
  • Uses kitchen equipment as instructed to insure safety and proper care of equipment.
  • Removes trash as necessary to outdoor dumpsters and maintain cleanliness of all trash receptacles.
  • Breakdowns cardboard boxes and removes to designated area.
  • Sweeps and mops the floor as instructed by the F&B STM on staff.
  • Deep cleans kitchen and respective areas as instructed.
  • Cleans and organize all shelves, walk-ins, storeroom and back dock area.
  • Commits to the Team R.O.C.K. Philosophy.
  • Acts as a role model and always present oneself as a credit to River Rock Casino and encourages others to do the same.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, department and company policies and procedures.
  • Attends all required meetings and training.
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
