About The Position

As a member of our Stewarding/Dishwasher team, you are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishes and silverware to be used by guests of the casino/hotel, cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, and cleaning and sanitizing the dining room and banquet areas. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
  • Must have reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents
  • Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending on identified needs of the company
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the kitchen and food service areas.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas with temperatures in excess of 115 degrees near dish machine.
  • Must be able to use chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen areas.
  • Must be able to operate the dish machine.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to push carts, pull, bend, stoop, and stack racks of dishes and silverware.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, silverware, kitchen equipment, dining rooms, and banquet areas
  • Maintain an upbeat and positive demeanor in all interactions as well as maintaining composure in handling difficult interactions
  • Comply with company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Act as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same
  • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned
