About The Position

CoralTree is seeking a Steward/Dishwasher to join their team at RiverPlace Hotel in Portland, OR. The role supports all food and beverage outlets through cleanliness, organization, and pace within the stewarding department, utilizing proper cleaning techniques and equipment to meet property needs. The RiverPlace Hotel is an upscale hotel with 85 guest rooms and suites, located near Tom McCall Waterfront Park and offering views of the Willamette River. The hotel's restaurant, RiverPlace Kitchen + Bar, features a diverse menu with a focus on fresh seafood and alfresco dining.

Requirements

• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment/machinery.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive physical appearance of the stewarding and back of house areas.
• Communicate supply, maintenance, safety, and storage needs to leadership promptly.
• Fulfill restaurant service needs from Stewarding throughout the shift and ensure that all requirements are met according to specifications.
