About The Position

This entry-level position earns $14.00/hour and receives training to help you get settled in the role. Overtime is also available. The entry-level Stevedores - Dockworkers are responsible for safely loading and unloading cargo from barges to support efficient shipping operations. This role will keep you active and moving as you work with your team to unload incoming cargo and stack outgoing cargo on the ship. You'll follow all safety procedures and make sure materials are fully secured as you work, playing your part in keeping yourself, your team, and the ship workers safe.

Requirements

Comfort working outdoors and performing physical tasks.
Reliable work ethic and ability to show up to work on time.
Legal authorization to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish).
Relevant experience.

Responsibilities
