About The Position

Montshire Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Sterilization Technician to join our team at our Rutland office. We are a family-owned practice serving nearly 30,000 children across New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts. Our work centers on eliminating barriers to care so families can access the dental services they need. Requirements

  • Must be detail-oriented to work efficiently in small spaces and maintain patient comfort
  • Must be flexible and understand that job duties may change from time to time and that may be asked to help in other areas of the office.
  • Must excel in forward thinking to anticipate the needs of the doctor as well as the patient.

Nice To Haves

  • Radiology certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages the sterilization center: has a thorough understanding of and follows all infection control protocol according to CDC & OSHA laws and guidelines.
  • Process, package, and prepare all instruments and materials coming through sterilization center. This process should be timely, not allowing backup of critical instruments and in accordance with proper OSHA protocol.
  • Keeping of appropriate logs to maintain compliance.
  • Clean, disinfect and reset treatment rooms between patients to support clinical teams and keep schedule running on time.
