About The Position

Fort Worth Oral Surgery is hiring an entry-level Sterilization Tech to support its dental surgery team. No prior experience or formal schooling is required; the employer will train the right candidate. The role focuses on correctly and promptly processing instruments to support patient care. Over time, the employee may be trained to assist doctors with oral surgery procedures and work toward becoming a Registered Dental Assistant.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Scrub instruments.
• Package and sterilize instruments using specific processes.
• Gather instruments throughout the office.
• Stock supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• After training, demonstrate understanding of the sterile process and follow instructions accurately.
• Potentially train to assist doctors with oral surgery procedures and pursue Registered Dental Assistant certification.
