Position Summary
As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team by ensuring instruments and treatment areas are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in orthodontics—we're happy to train the right candidate and provide opportunities for advancement into an Orthodontic Assistant role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine interest in learning and professional growth.

Nice To Haves

• Previous dental or orthodontic experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
• CPR and Radiology certifications are a plus.
• EFDA certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control standards is preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment following all infection control protocols.
• Become familiar with orthodontic instruments and maintain an organized sterilization area.
• Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized clinic throughout the day.
• Help with end-of-day cleaning and closing responsibilities alongside the clinical team.
• Monitor and maintain sterilization supplies and inventory.
