About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Sterile Supply Technician to support the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. This role ensures all instruments are properly processed and available for patient care.
Requirements
- Nationally accredited Central Service Technician certification OR At least 1 year of experience as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare facility
- Ability to pass pre-employment health screening
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays
- Assemble simple and complex instrument sets
- Operate sterilization equipment (steam, Steris, Sterrad)
- Monitor and document sterilization processes
- Perform quality checks using proper sterile techniques
- Respond to urgent instrument requests
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
