About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Radiologic Technician for an exciting job in Ithaca, NY.
Requirements
- Active Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent)
- Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Ability to commit to 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
- Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and radiation safety standards
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and accurately position patients for imaging examinations
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce clear, precise diagnostic images
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety and protection protocols
- Verify physician orders and confirm patient identification prior to procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of imaging services provided
- Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions promptly
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and New York State regulations
