About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Sterile Supply Assistant to join our Surgery team in Northeast Portland, Oregon! This person should be organized and focused on maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation. As a Sterile Supply Assistant, you will prepare instruments and operating room for surgery, troubleshoot and remove faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement, maintain appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment, decontaminate and clean operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures, clean and sterilize instruments and wrapping packs, and serve as a resource/reference to the surgical team with regards to surgical equipment.

Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery.
