Sterile Processing Technician, Weekends, Baptist Downtown
About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department at Baptist Jacksonville. This position is a Full-Time, weekends position working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7pm to 7:30am. As a Sterile Processing Tech, your responsibilities include: Understand principles of sterilization. Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization. Able to prioritize duties. Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Instrument Experience
- 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience
- Linen Processing Experience
- Knowledge of regulatory protocols.
- High School Diploma
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Required Or Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required
