About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to support a fast-paced dental/healthcare environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring instruments are properly sterilized, organized, and ready for use while maintaining strict compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with basic computer systems (email, documentation, tracking systems)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in sterile processing, dental assisting, or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with medical or dental instruments
• Experience with electronic medical or dental record systems
• Understanding of OSHA compliance and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and sterilize dental and medical instruments
• Maintain accurate logs of sterilization cycles and spore testing
• Track instruments through the sterilization process using electronic systems
• Ensure all sterilization areas remain clean, organized, and compliant
• Monitor inventory and maintain supply levels for daily operations
• Support providers by fulfilling instrument and equipment requests
• Identify and report equipment or process issues to leadership
• Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and general operational support
