About The Position
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based sterile processing activities. This position will support all the facilities in the market as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a formal Sterile Processing Technician course with field training.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year in sterile processing.
- Current certification through internationally recognized organizations such as IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management) or Certification Board for Central Sterile Processing.
Responsibilities
- Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation including various software applications.
- Assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts.
- Paring and replenishment of materials.
- Working in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies.
